Professional Canine Search, Rescue, and Recovery.
Our Services
at a Glance.
Our search dogs seek out missing persons, coth living and deceased, in order to help close missing persons investigations, assist investigators, families, and communities, and, most importantly, bring those who are lost home to their loved ones.
-
Live-Find Canines look for living persons who are lost, have gone missing, or are trapped due to events such as a natural disaster. For us this means training the dog in the disciplines of Air-Senting and Tracking/Trailing in order to seek and find living persons, expidite aid and rescue, and help critically improve search outcomes.
-
Searching exclusively for the odour of human remains, our dog uses its unique nose to locate deceased missing persons. When properly imprinted and trained, these dogs will find human remains to the exclusion of any other decaying plant, animal, or organic matter. These dogs are valuable in both recent and historic cases, and are even capable of detecting buried persons and victims of drowning beneath the water’s surface. The return of a deceased loved one helps to bring closure to families and friends, and dignity to the remains of the deceased.
-
In addition to our search dogs, we offer consulting services to organizations and groups, and are in the process of standing up training seminars. In addition to this, we are currently working closely with an allied organization to develop a new set of search dog certicications that are aimed to address existing problems in the industry and improve the overall quality of search and rescue dogs in Alberta and across Canada.
